Last year it was our first time visiting the WestWord Music Festival in Denver. The festival is unique, like nothing I have seen before (maybe SXSW is the one comparable festival?): the local weekly newspaper that belongs to the Village Voice group, WestWord, selects plenty of local bands and a few of big names that will play in the main stage and around it, you will find various clubs with live music all day.
Your wristband guarantees access to all the venues and we spent a Saturday afternoon walking from one place to the other and ended the night in the main stage checking out a few of the headliners.
Next Saturday we are heading out again, to check out all the bands, specially Young The Giant! Here is the full lineup for this year's installment.
