New Orleans is filled with antique shops in the French Quarter. We visited many of them, but all were extremely overpriced! The day we spent walking around the Garden District we found the paradise for the antique shopper on Magazine Street.
The store is called Magazine Antique Mall, it's gigantic and has everything you could ever imagine for your home, from old books, to old furniture, glassware, jewelry and crazy accessories. Everything at very affordable prices!!!
Needless to say, we spent some (ok, a lot...) time inside the shop, looking for key pieces for our apartment (an old bar set, a foot model, the head I showed here yesterday and super cute vintage glasses). I'll be creating posts that will feature our favorite pieces and what we struggled to bring home in one piece.
If you are in New Orleans, we truly recommend a stop by the Magazine Antique Mall.
