It's Friday! --> Fall in the mountains and more!

My in-laws are in town visiting us and we have taken the time to go visit some very amazing places in Colorado. Yesterday we spent the day in between Grant and Georgetown and took a gorgeous Fall Colors drive in the Pike National Park. The trees with incredible yellow gold color make it for amazing pictures that will later post here.

Today, we are in route to visit a few of the most famous Colorado farms and do some pumpkin picking as well as visit a few corn mazes. It's truly fall, with amazing summer weather ans we are loving it!

I hope you have a great, beautiful fall weekend! :)

Love for nail polish

As you might already know, I have a cray love for nail polish --> I have a whole vase full with nail polishes from US and Brazil.  I only wish I was not a disaster and could do my own nails.

Last week, I took a trip to the Lowry Town Center and bought this amazing Butter nail polish, ran to my favorite salon: Avery Bella Salon & Spa and got my nails done with lovely Jenn.

What do you think?
I was really looking forward to get my nails done in crazy colors, and yellow seemed to be perfect to celebrate the last few days of summer and the beginning of fall.

Fall Fashion: Krizia + Yokoo

Dreaming of fall fashion.
We have had days of 90 degrees weather on Colorado and even though the leaves are still very green and it doesn't feel like fall at all, I'm here, dreaming of fall fashion, leg warmers, comfortable oversized sweaters and this amazing scarf. Because, yeah, mustard and anything mustard for me this fall, please!

It's finally September 13th: Missoni for Target is here!

Good Morning!

We were up today extremelly early. I got up at 3am to check out the Target website and get my shopping on. Missoni for Target is out today (currently, the Target website is out, probably because of traffic), and I wanted to make sure I was going to garantee the pieces I really wanted!

I'll make a post about what I have chosen as soon as I receive the pieces!

My boyfriend is working since 5am. I served him breakfast in bed (scrambeled eggs + onions + cheese on a pita bread) and he started making phone calls really early on. We have visitors coming on Wednesday, so we are working to have everything up and running well with Move2Denver before their arrival.

Today, I'm taking the day off, I'm goin to do my round at the Target stores to see the collection in person for the first time and then I'm off to the movies. I'm feeling in need of a little comedy in my life, so I have selcted "My Idiot Brother", with Paul Rudd as my film selction for the day.

Tonight, we are back in business, as I have endless ads to run tonight and a lot of materials to work with and post in both the Move2Denver and Lowry facebook pages! It's going to be a full at with basically no sleep and I'm feeling pretty good about it! :)

Happy Friday + Lucile's Creole Cafe

It's Friday, friends! Let's celebrate! I'm feeling very optimistic about the month of September! It seems to be full of great surprises and one of them was the discovery of Lucile's Creole Cafe, here in Denver, CO!

I decided to take my boyfriend to a surprise breakfast on a cold morning this week and we ended up eating at Lucile's. We had already heard a great deal of amazing things about the place, and since it was a cold day, we thought that great food was a good way to cheer up!
The truth is, the two of us really miss New Orleans and all the delicious, amazing, fattening creole food we had over there. And I got to tell you, Lucile's did not disappoint, not one bit.

{we sat in the sun and had amazing beignets}

{my cup of chicory coffee au lait - pure deliciousness}

{my boyfriend's choice: fried oysters + eggs + spinach}

{my dish: shrimp + grits + potatoes + spinach + eggs}

Fashion's Night Out

Guess what? It's tonight! Fashion's Night Out! The movement created by the vogue editor, Anna Wintour has now spread throughout the country (and the world, there are many other countries participating in the event tonight) and become one annual event to celebrate fashion! In Denver, there will be small events in stores at the Cherry Creek Mall, Park Meadows and The Flatirons.

I'll stop by Cherry Creek tonight, to check out the Fall Collection for J.Crew and maybe stop by the gigantic Neiman Marcus party. For complete details on Fashion's Night Out at Cherry Creek, you can check out their website {click here}

Zara launches online shopping in the US

Yesterday I ended up spending hours checking out the new Fall Collection from Zara online. The Spanish brand finally launched its online store in the US, which is great news, specially for areas like Denver, where there are not one Zara store in the entire state of Colorado. Last time I visited Zara was in Vancouver, BC and they had amazing items on sale!

If you want to check out the online store, click {here}

Happy shopping!

{Zara did an amazing series of photographs of the 50 states to launch with the website}

{The fall collection looks great, I'm in love with the many polka dot shirts and sequin skirts}

Fall TV - The Rachel Zoe Project

Fall TV is here! The best season for prime time TV, new shows premieres and the return of loved shows. I can't remember the last time I was so excited about TV like I am right now. Not only I can't wait for Dexter and Fringe to return, but all the new shows look amazing!

I have gone crazy with the latest magazines featuring what's coming, specially Entertainment Weekly Fall TV Preview.

Tonight, it all starts with the return of the Rachel Zoe Project - Season 4 - the season in which Rachel is still pregnant, insane, gorgeous and super fashionable.

I'm already enjoying the end of Design Star and the new ABC Family show (and guilty pleasure) The Lying Game and cannot wait for next week, when Anderson (a new talk show with Anderson Cooper); Ringer (the new Sarah Michelle Gellar show); and Up All Night premieres.

Good Morning, friends!

I hope all of you had a great, relaxing holiday weekend!

We spent our days enjoying our home and working on increasing traffic to the Move 2 Denver website. Thankfully, Sunday and Monday were record days in terms of traffic and we are very happy with that!

Now, in the home page of the website, we have a Facebook and Twitter app, that shows what we are up to online. If you would like to follow us on twitter, we are here: @move2denver and like us on Facebook: Move2Denver!

This week, we will be talking about things that we love, a lot of home decor, and much more!

By the way, today is the launch of the book Design*Sponge at Home and we couldn't be more excited about that! The book is available here! We cannot wait to get our hands in a copy! Also, the book tour will be coming to Denver in November!

Also, this week, we will be talking about Fall TV Season that starts today (post coming soon) and our excitement to follow amazing shows, such as Ringer and Up All Night! We are excited!

Have a great week!
