September, 13th

I can't remember the last time I have waited for a day like I'm waiting for September 13th in my life! There are many things happening that day:

1. 7 a.m. Launch of Missoni for Target!

2. Launch of the book Design*Sponge at Home

{the book tour comes to Denver in November!}

3. Opening of Lush in Cherry Creek

4. Premiere of The Ringer on TV!

I'll be far away when this post goes live, but this is one of my favorite projects my mother and I worked on while she visited last week. 

we created a bowl full of nail polishes. it's a nice way to keep them all together, instead of everywhere in the house. 

and it actually looks cool.

I guess my boyfriend and I are just not the most romantic couple in town, but I truly appreciate every single romantic gesture. 

in almost 3 years together, I got flowers twice, and I'm in love with them.

farmer's markets overload

last weekend we visited 4 farmers markets all over town. 

it was farmers market overload, so I could have time to introduce my mother to the delicious markets Denver has to offer. 

we don't have one central public market, but we are full of delicious things offered in every farmers market we visited.

flowery wednesday

while my mother's visit comes to an end (I'm already missing her), here are some of the projects we have done together around the house. 

last week, we focused on flowers and plants. our home was in need of something live and we ended up collecting a lot of cactus, a baby tree and my boyfriend contributed with a bouquet of flowers. I'm loving it!

+ H&M Fall 2011

I truly cannot believe that it's already fall. this was such a beautiful and special summer and after days like yesterday (98 degrees in Denver), it's hard to imagine that all this wonderful heat is going away. Maybe, for the first time, I don't feel sad, because now I know, even in the fall or in the winter Denver will be beautiful and sunny everyday. 

H&M released this video about their autumn collection and I just loved the looks so much, especially the lace skirt and embroidered blouse. It's comforting to know that the store will be opening soon. 

I have started a H&M shopping fund with every single change that enters this house. My little white pig is heavy by now and everybody is contributing, including my boyfriend and my mother. I might be branding the little piggy with the H&M logo!
