I was having a conversation with my boyfriend about the new Target designer collaboration with Jason Wu when he said:

"Who is Jason Wu?"

So, I answered him, everyone knows Jason Wu, and here is how:

Remember that amazing, one shoulder, gorgeous gown Michelle Obama wore in the inauguration of President Obama? Yes, that was created by Jason Wu.

One of the great things about the first lady is that she focuses on American designers and American brands on her wardrobe. Have you noticed how much J.Crew that woman wears?

The shocker this morning: @TargetStyle finally announces the designer collaboration for the Spring 2012 collection: Jason Wu. 

Harper's Bazaar has a piece about the designer and the collection that comes out exactly on my 30th birthday! Isn't that already a great 30th birthday?!

Missoni for Target --> countdown!

a little more than a month until the new Missoni for Target collection is launched and a few images of the a-ma-zing items are already out and featured in the magazines. 

Margherita Missoni herself is in the campaign and showing us the items that will bring craziness to Targets all around the country. 

there are talks of people who will camp in front of Target stores before Sep, 13th, the day of the collection debut.

Missoni for Target

Target announced last week, via Twitter, that they are launching their most exciting partnership to date: more than 400 pieces from Missoni, which will launch on stores and online on September 13th.

Needless to say, I cannot wait to see the look of the Missoni pieces, which will include clothes (men’s, women’s and children’s), bed sheets, bicycles, luggage, laptop cases, iPhone cases, furniture. OMG! I need to start saving now! J

Calypso St. Barth for Target

The next Go International designer collaboration with Target will be by Calypso St. Barth and it will be in stores on Sunday, May 1^st.

More than the women beach apparel collection they will be launching; I’m impressed with the home collection (priced $1.99 - $79.99), and have selected a few of my favorite items. I’m sure I’ll be visiting Target on Sunday morning to pick up these pieces!

They will also have a baby collection, and I’m sure I’ll pick up something for my most pregnant friend in Brooklyn!
