I was very surprised to find this swimsuit for sale @Anthropologie. I got it while we were in Brasil and, clearly, it was a great deal: since it's winter now in Brazil, I went to Rosa Chá because they were having a 75% sale and got this piece. It is for sale in the US for the same price (~$400) and I ended up paying less then $100.

Spring Cleaning
We have been on a spring cleaning binge at home (since March, might I add...) and it seems it will never end. We are trying to reorganize the apartment, clean everything, put furniture together, fix furniture, get rid of stuff we don't need anymore (three sets of luggage, anyone...) and much, much more.
Here are a few glimpses of new things around the apartment:
Capoeira Denver
In order to have a performance to close the events during the whole week, we invited a local Capoeira group from Denver to come and present for our guests.
Capoeira is a mix of martial arts and dance created in Brazil by the African slaves as a way to solve their internal disputes. Brazil is the country that had the long story of slavery in the world. The Portuguese brought slaves over from Africa to work on the sugar cane and coffee plantation farms and their owners would not allow the slaves to solve their internal disputes with fights. When caught, they would be physically punished and so, the slave decided to create this art, which looks like a dance so they would not be punished, while solving their internal disagreements.
Capoeira is today an amazing art, it's just gorgeous to see it and it was brought to the US in the 70's - the base of break dance comes from capoeira. The martial art/dance has become a country staple and it always gives me goosebumps to watch any performance.
Here are a few pictures and videos from Capoeira Denver:
Jason Alexander (George Costanza)
Last week, besides our trip to Cheyenne and the trade show we participated in a series of shows, events and tried our best to keep our guests entertained. I have to say that the highlight of the whole week was Jason Alexander's comedy show. He was blunt, sarcastic and really made the whole group laugh hard!
He was hilarious as you can see by the pictures below:

Cheyenne, WY
Last week was one of the most intense weeks of the year for me, we had out annual corporate event here in Denver and it was filled with activities to entertain our guests that flew in from all around the world to spend some time with us.
The first day we hired a local country store, Sheplers, to come over, bring a trunk full with cowboy hats and all our guests got fitted to receive their hats gifts and get prepared to head to Cheyenne in Wyoming to visit the satellite uplink center.
I have to say it was a lot of fun to dress up in a full cowboy outfit, see friends I haven't seen in a very long time and enjoy the trip. The uplink center is an impressive, gigantic facility, with more than 75 gigantic satellites.
