Happy Friday!

the weekend is finally here!

this week was a roller coaster! it started amazing! it was almost 70 degrees at some point, the sun was shinning and we are two very busy bees here at Move2Denver! but then my car broke down and I spent the rest of the time locked inside the apartment. and then we had a surprise snow storm.

I like to always make the best of what is happening, so while I was stuck at the house, I cleaned my bedroom, took everything out and put it back together, in different spots, re-arranging everything. it was a lot of work, but a lot of fun, too!

next week, I'm going to talk about the different Denver neighborhoods and what they have to offer. I believe it's going to be a fun series, that also I'll make me go and visit different spots in the city.

Have a great weekend!

Happy Friday!

Nothing better than ending one more week with an inspiring home tour. This time, it's Bri Emery's loft in sunny California! How gorgeous is her home? Happy Friday!

Wall of books - a gorgeous home in Brazil

This home is located in São Paulo, Brazil and was created by groupSP. It could, easily, end up in the Flavorpill piece about amazing bookstores! Who doesn't dream of a home with a whole wall of books?

Hello? Anybody there?

Hello, friends! I have simply disappeared lately.
And, when I'm in that kind of mood, when negativism is my home, I prefer not to share dark thoughts with anyone.
I've ready this post by Joanna (from A Cup of Jo) about worrying too much and I've been trying out, trying to throw my worries and thoughts inside the Grand Canyon.

So, since then I've been trying to enjoy myself a little and forget.

You can see by the photo booth images that we are succeeding!

This is boyfriend and I being silly, we love a little photo booth time and silly laughs.

So, in that spirit, every year we create our Christmas Cards and send out to close family and friends who, hopefully, will not judge how silly we are!

I'm posting here a few shots from the Christmas Cards and, once everyone has received theirs, I'll post the cards here!

To tell you the truth, we are all in the spirit of the Holidays these days.

So maybe, I can share with you our small and crazy Holiday projects!

I'm so absolutely in love with her home, her painting in the living room {musica}, the books in her home office, the bathrooms, there is so much I absolutely love in this home and identify with... It's simple, gorgeous, with color... Oh, Sabrina, I LOVE your home!

Good Morning, friends!

I hope all of you had a great, relaxing holiday weekend!

We spent our days enjoying our home and working on increasing traffic to the Move 2 Denver website. Thankfully, Sunday and Monday were record days in terms of traffic and we are very happy with that!

Now, in the home page of the website, we have a Facebook and Twitter app, that shows what we are up to online. If you would like to follow us on twitter, we are here: @move2denver and like us on Facebook: Move2Denver!

This week, we will be talking about things that we love, a lot of home decor, and much more!

By the way, today is the launch of the book Design*Sponge at Home and we couldn't be more excited about that! The book is available here! We cannot wait to get our hands in a copy! Also, the book tour will be coming to Denver in November!

Also, this week, we will be talking about Fall TV Season that starts today (post coming soon) and our excitement to follow amazing shows, such as Ringer and Up All Night! We are excited!

Have a great week!

happy friday, friends!

happy friday, friends!
it's a long weekend, everybody will be out!
we had a trip to california we had to cancel, so we will be home
we will work away!
so, here is a snap of my work space, that's still a work in progress
but, always, very nice to work around flowers and so many design magazines!
{happy labor day weekend!}

nail polish bowl

I'll be far away when this post goes live, but this is one of my favorite projects my mother and I worked on while she visited last week.
we created a bowl full of nail polishes. it's a nice way to keep them all together, instead of everywhere in the house.
and it actually looks cool.

flowers from my love

I guess my boyfriend and I are just not the most romantic couple in town, but I truly appreciate every single romantic gesture.
in almost 3 years together, I got flowers twice, and I'm in love with them.

{my flowers are keeping Obama company}

flowery wednesday

while my mother's visit comes to an end (I'm already missing her), here are some of the projects we have done together around the house.
last week, we focused on flowers and plants. our home was in need of something live and we ended up collecting a lot of cactus, a baby tree and my boyfriend contributed with a bouquet of flowers. I'm loving it!
